MidYear 2012 in Myrtle Beach was amazing! We heard oustanding music, enjoyed a Mardi Gras atmosphere and listened to Past Int'l President Don Canaday talk about how, in all his speeches, he mentions the Boys and Girls Home of NC - that OUR DISTRICT supports. This award is given to one Lt. Governor based on performance in growth, service and communication to his division . The Lt. Governor must first have been designated a Distinguished Lt. Governor before being considered for this award.


ANNA MAE SMITH AWARD

Kiwanis Club of Coats, Division 11
The club that had the most service hours per member for the year receives this award. Numbers are taken from the summary of monthly reports. One truly makes a difference.

INTERCLUB AWARD

Kiwanis Club of Angier, Division 11
The Kiwanis Club in the Carolinas District having the best interclub visitation record during each administrative year will be recognized with the interclub award.


MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AWARD

Hendersonville, Division 2, Net Growth of 12

Myrtle Beach, Division 24, 167% Growth

This award is given to a club based on end of year numbers from Kiwanis International. For example, if a club had 50 members on October 1, 2008 and 55 members on September 30, 2009, then the club would be +5 members with 10% growth. This award is given to two clubs: the one with the highest number in net growth and the one with the highest percentage of net growth.

25% Net Growth

The following clubs achieved 25% net growth for the 2010-2011 Kiwanis Year and will be reimbursed the dues for those members above and beyond their September 30, 2010 membership #. This reimbursement is done every year a club achieves 25% net growth and is based on Kiwanis International's official membership numbers.
